|CHIPPENDALE WORLD ART RESIDENCY
There are ONLY 5 DAYS left to enter the INTERNATIONAL Chippendale World Art Residency (CWAR) painting Prize! Three winners must embark on a six-week sojourn painting the same countryside that inspired Vincent Van Gogh at Nicky Ginsberg’s inspiring new project, NG Art Creative Residency.
This is it, it’s the final countdown. If you, your neighbour, your great-aunt or your best mate have not submitted a painted landscape to Chippendale’s premier art prize, then you all miss out on the chance to win a six week experience at the expertly directed NG Art Creative Residency in the gloriously fertile region of Eygalières, Provence, France.
The brief is simple, submit a painted landscape that inspires a sense of place.

Directed and run by long-standing gallerist, curator, entrepreneur, director and visionary Nicky Ginsberg, the NG Art Creative Residency is the collective brainchild of Ginsberg’s creative offspring; NG Art, the Chippendale Creative Precinct, and the Chippendale World Art Residency. The NG Art Creative Residency will see three promising prize-winners flourish under Nicky’s expert guidance.
Set within the Apilles Mountain range, in the Mas des Pelerins (Pilgrim’s House), NG Art Creative Residency is your opportunity to paint from dawn ‘til dusk amongst the sunflowers, poppies and olive groves.
With a huge shared studio space, swimming pool and private facilities, Nicky Ginsberg welcomes artists from near and far to her very own creative haven.
Three winners of the CWAR will rendez-vous in this painters paradise, their mouths feasting on local cheese and meats, their eyes on acres of untouched, unruly scrub, their ears on the silence of the surrounding mountainside.
With supreme thanks to our benefactor Dr. Stanley Quek, former Chairman of Frasers Property Australia and current Executive Chairman of Greencliff Pty. Ltd., Chippendale’s first Art Prize is made possible by a generous $100,000 sponsorship spanning 10 years.
